Founding Members

Dr. Satish Singh Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Government College, Budaun, with over 11 years of distinguished teaching experience in government colleges. He is a dedicated academic and mentor, currently guiding four PhD research scholars, demonstrating his commitment to advancing sociological scholarship.

His academic foundation is robust, beginning with his graduation and post-graduation from CSJM University, Kanpur. He further honed his expertise by earning his Doctorate (PhD) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 2016. Dr. Yadav actively contributes to his field through rigorous research, with a significant publication record of 10 articles in UGC-listed, peer-reviewed journals. This blend of extensive teaching, impactful research, and doctoral supervision makes him an asset to the academic community at Government College, Budaun.

Dr. Anil Kumar holds an M.A. in History (Topper, 2002) and qualified UGC-NET (2004). He earned his Ph.D. in 2007 and began his teaching career at Kumari Mayawati Government Postgraduate College, Badalpur (Gautam Buddha Nagar). In 2011, he joined Government Postgraduate College, Budaun, where he continues to serve as an Associate Professor. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Dr. Kumar has published more than 20 research papers and articles in reputed national and international journals. Under his supervision, four research scholars are pursuing their doctoral work. He has presented several papers based on original sources in various national conferences and seminars. Dr. Kumar is known for his dedication to academic excellence and his continued contribution to higher education and research.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jaiswal is a dedicated academician and scholar serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Government College, Budaun. His tenure at this institution began in 2006, marking an impressive span of 19 years of continuous teaching and mentorship. Dr. Jaiswal completed his graduation from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and pursued his postgraduate studies, followed by his Doctorate (Ph.D.) from Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. He has authored and published 10 research articles in UGC-listed, peer-reviewed journals. He is currently supervising four Ph.D. scholars, guiding their doctoral work with his expertise. His long-standing tenure, scholarly output, and supervisory responsibilities underscore his deep commitment to higher education and political science.

Dr. Sujeet Kumar Patel is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sanskrit at Mariahu P.G. College, Jaunpur. Prior to this, he taught at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Solapur (Maharashtra). He completed his graduation in 2009 from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University and postgraduate degree in Sanskrit literature from Banaras Hindu University in 2011. In 2012, he completed B.Ed. from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith and later qualified NET and JRF. He completed his Ph.D. in 2018 from BHU; his research topic was “kiratarjuniyam evm Shishupalvadham me Pratipadit Rajneeti : ek parishilan.” He has published a total of 12 research papers and one book chapter in reputed journals.

Dr. Dolly is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Vijay Singh Pathik Government PG College, Kairana, Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, and qualified UGC NET and U.P. SLET in Political Science. She has over 13 years’ experience as a scholar, educator, and mentor. She has published several research papers/articles in academic journals and presented more than 60 research papers at national and international conferences/seminars. She has also delivered invited lectures at various academic institutions. In the classroom, she supervises graduate/postgraduate students in their projects & dissertations. Beyond academics, Dr. Dolly actively engages in community outreach as NSS Program Officer and District SVEEP Brand Ambassador for Female Voters Awareness.

Dr. Ravinder Singh Yadav holds an academic background in Hindi studies, beginning with a First Division in Secondary from Rajasthan Board, Jodhpur (1994), and First Division in Intermediate from the UP Board, Mainpuri (1997). He completed his graduation from DBRA University, Agra (2000), followed by M.A. Hindi (2002) and M.Phil. Hindi (2005), all with First Division. He earned his Ph.D. in Hindi from DBRAU in 2009 and qualified UGC-NET in June 2010. With about 19 years of teaching experience, he has served as Lecturer (contract) in various colleges between 2006–2014, then as Assistant Professor of Hindi at Government PG College Faridpur (2014–2024). Since July 2024, he has been serving at Government PG College Awas Vikas, Budaun. Dr. Yadav has published five research papers, along with several articles and poems in reputed journals.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Government College, Budaun since 2021. His academic career spans over 15 years, during which he has taught at several institutions. He earned his B.A. (1996), M.A. (1998) from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, and recently completed his Ph.D. in 2025. He qualified UGC-NET in 2006. Dr. Kumar is an active researcher, with publications in UGC-listed peer-reviewed journals and notable papers in 2022 and 2023. His career reflects a sustained commitment to historical scholarship and higher education.

Dr. Premchand is an academic and scholar of Hindi. He earned his B.A. from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (2001), M.A. Hindi (First Class) in 2003, followed by B.Ed. in 2005 — all from same university. He qualified UGC-NET in December 2006. He began as Honorary Lecturer in Hindi Dept., Gorakhpur University (2006–2008), followed by teaching in basic and intermediate education until 2018. An active researcher, he has participated in 8 national and 4 international conferences, and published in 4 national journals. Since 5 August 2021, he is serving as Assistant Professor in Hindi Dept. at Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Budaun.

Dr. Hukum Singh is an Assistant Professor of Physical Education at Government Degree College, Budaun, with over 15 years of teaching experience, including at Lovely Professional University, Punjab and Damyanti Raj Anand Government PG College, Bisauli. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Education from DAVV Indore, along with M.Phil., M.P.Ed., B.P.Ed. degrees from LNIPE Gwalior and DAVV Indore, and is UGC-NET JRF qualified. His specializations include Weightlifting, Athletics, and Sports Biomechanics. He has represented LNIPE Gwalior in All-India Inter-University Weightlifting Championships three times, served as official in Commonwealth Games 2010 and Asian All-Star Athletics Meet, and holds certifications like National Referee (Weightlifting) and FTO by Athletics Federation of India. He has 14 research publications and several invited lectures at national forums, and is an active member of ASLSRI.

Dr. Rasheda Khatoon is an Assistant Professor of Urdu at Government Degree College, Budaun. She holds a Ph.D. from Allahabad University and is a recipient of the JRF Award. She has edited two books, published at least ten research papers in reputed journals, and presented papers at Rajasthan University, Allahabad University, Delhi University, and Ghalib Institute. Her area of specialization is Urdu fiction — novels and short stories — in which she engages in critical analysis.

Mohd. Junaid Alam is an Assistant Professor of Urdu Language and Literature at Government College, Budaun. He completed his graduation in 2016 from Jamia Millia Islamia, followed by a Master’s degree from Gautam Buddha University in 2018. He earned his M.Phil from University of Delhi in 2020 and is currently pursuing PhD at Zakir Hussain College, University of Delhi. His primary academic interest lies in Urdu poetry, where he is engaged in critical research and analysis, reflecting a dedicated pursuit of excellence in Urdu literary studies.

Dr. Vijay Kumar Mishra completed his Doctoral research (Ph.D.) in 2022 at Centre for Study of Social Exclusion & Inclusive Policy, Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). He previously served as Guest Lecturer at Department of Humanistic Studies, IIT (BHU), Varanasi (2014–16), and at Centre for Post-Colonial Education, Varanasi (2013). He was awarded UGC-JRF in Sociology (2012) and attended a one-month international training programme on Human Rights for Development organized by Antwerp University, Belgium. He earned M.A. (2010) and M.Phil (2011) from BHU; his M.Phil thesis “Development and Exclusion: Search for Inclusionary Alternatives” was published by Zenith Publishers, New Delhi. His academic specializations include Development Studies, Rural & Urban Sociology, Subaltern Studies, Caste & Tribal Studies, and his current interests include politics of development, social exclusion, globalization, and consumerism. He has published research papers in national journals, presented over 15 papers at national and international seminars, participated in academic workshops and symposia, and served on the organizing committee of the International Workshop on Addressing Multiple Exclusions at BHU.

Dr. Amitesh Kumar Singh has been a Master Trainer of Indian Knowledge System (IKS) since 2023. He secured 10ᵗʰ rank in Uttar Pradesh in UPHESC Exam and joined Lal Bahadur Shastri P.G. College in 2020. Prior to this, he was Assistant Professor at Munger University, Bihar. He passed MPPSC exam for Assistant Professor in 2018. He completed B.A. (2011), B.Ed. (2012), M.A. in Political Science (2014) from Banaras Hindu University. He qualified UGC-NET (JRF) in December 2013 and earned Ph.D. in 2021 from BHU. With years of dedicated experience in higher education, he has established himself as a respected teacher and researcher.

Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh (Ph.D. from Department of Sociology, University of Lucknow) serves as an Assistant Professor in Sociology at Maharana Pratap Government P.G. College, Bilsi (Budaun). He has approximately 22 years of academic experience. His areas of specialization and research interests include Globalization, Political Sociology, Rural Sociology, Culture & Media. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh guides research scholars as a registered supervisor with M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. He actively contributes to the academic community through teaching, research guidance, and participation in professional organizations like International Sociological Association, Indian Sociological Society (LMI-2344) and Ethnographic & Folk Culture Society (LMI-636). He is involved in academic and administrative duties related to examinations and academic coordination within the university system and UPPSC.
